UPPCL AE (Assistant Engineer) Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

  • Minimum Age – 21 years
  • Maximum Age – 40 years
  • Candidates of the SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL categories of Uttar Pradesh will be given five-year age relaxation in the upper age limit.

Educational Qualification

The candidates must fulfill the given criteria: 

  • Should be able to communicate effectively in Hindi.
  • Must possess a Civil Engineering degree from a university lawfully established in Uttar Pradesh, or from any other institution approved by the State Government, or diploma, degree, or certificate recognized as equivalent by the State Government 

OR

  • Be an associate member of the Institution of Engineers (India) by completing Sections ‘A’ & ‘B.’

UPPCL Assistant Engineer Selection Process

The Assistant Engineer (AE) position requires candidates to go through a two-stage selection process. During the first stage, objective-type questions of one mark are included in the written examination. Those who qualify for the computer-based test will be invited to the interview round. UPPCL JE Eligibility Criteria – Essential Qualification
